Training at the London College of Makeup and AOFM (Academy of Freelance Makeup) equipped me with a wide range of practical skills enabling me to begin my journey. Before turning my hand to hair and makeup I gained a BA degree in Graphic design and Advertising and then went on to complete a Masters degree in Film and Television Production. I have experience working behind the camera for celebrity photographer Rankin and at Atlantic records to name a few. Since completing my initial training I have attended a number of short courses at studios such as LOVE HAIR and Neil Gorton. Learning new techniques and styles is so important in an ever-changing industry such as beauty. I want to make every client and bride feel their most beautiful, whilst also being able to recognise themselves in the mirror. Looking at the beauty in each person, and highlighting these elements to enhance ones personality, really is a joy. Being a hair stylist and makeup artist allows me to express my creativity and help someone to feel their best. I still find magic in how a few brushstrokes and clever use of colour can totally transform a face. Utilising cherry picked products from brands such as Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tillbury and MAC to name a few. The personal relationships built between my clients and myself is carried through to the wedding day. I am on hand to help calm nerves and understand a bride’s needs. My aim is to make the start of your special day a happy and memorable one.
